ABOUT NEW LIFE BAPTIST
Our church motto is:
We exist to glorify God by knowing and loving Him, and through making and maturing disciples.
This motto summarizes what we hope to achieve through New Life Baptist Church. We believe that we exist solely for the purpose of glorifying God in our lives—we exist to spread God’s fame (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)!
We believe we will achieve this goal by pursuing four general objectives.
First, we will glorify God by knowing Him. We come to know God by entering into a saving relationship with Him through a spiritual new birth offered through Jesus Christ (John 17:3; 1 John 5:11-13).
Second, we will glorify God by loving Him as He commands—with our whole heart, mind, soul, and strength (Mark 12:30).
Third, we will glorify God through making disciples—by sharing our faith, the biblical gospel, with others, they too will come to know God through Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).
Fourth, we will glorify God by maturing disciples. We believe that every member is responsible for using his or her gifts, talents, and abilities to serve God, and therefore we will work together at equipping all members to serve God within the local church (1 Corinthians 12:12-26; Ephesians 4:12; 1 Peter 4:10).
If you don’t currently have a church home, then we invite you to come by and visit us. We will welcome you and seek to help you in your quest to glorify God in your life.
For His Glory,
Pastor Darren Hammermeister
